Why We Love It

Fish Species

Peacock bass fishing runs from early August through early February.  There is no “perfect” time to fish as peacock bass are in the River this entire period.  River fishing depends upon the complex eco system which includes large rains over thousands of square miles.  As waters recede at the start of the dry season, the bass come downstream and after a few weeks of feeding, start to spawn.  Fishing is best during this period which occurs at different times in places on the river.  The yacht will move each day to the best fishing area.

The Rio Solimoes flows into Manaus where it meets the Rio Negro to form the Amazon river.  The rivers of Brazil are different in each area.  Your guides and yacht captain will take you to the best spots for fishing at the time you are there.
